Brad Camp is a professional photojournalist in the Pacific Northwest. His studio is nestled among the ancient trees of the Northwest and minutes from the waters of Puget Sound.

His 20 years of professional photography experience has made him a highly sought after local assignment photographer. His award winning work has been seen in the local media and other publications including: Outdoor Life Magazine, Seattle Mariners Magazine, Associated Press member publications, Destination Kitsap and more.

This work is not just about the camera, it is a passion of life to pursue. The camera is merely a tool...

The first camera I picked in my single digit years came from my dad and immediately I started to notice the people and places around me and I wanted to capture peak candid moments in time.

In Manhattan Kansas, I studied photojournalism at Kansas State University and graduated in 1991 with a Journalism and Mass Communications degree.

Trekking across the plains, I went on to work at several dailies and metros in the Midwest and was an Associated Press stringer in Kansas and Illinois. I finally landed in Kitsap County where I became a staff photographer for the Kitsap News Group.

I am an award winning and nationally published photojournalist and have received accolades from the Associated Press, Washington Newspaper Association, the Society for Professional Journalists and am a member of the National Press Photographers Association. I am still a full-time staff newspaper photojournalist for a chain of papers in the Pacific Northwest, practicing the craft every day.

I have photographed many great people from all walks of life, including presidents and  visiting heads of state to the quiet corners of our community to capture the life of the region.

In my civic life, I served as an executive member of the North Kitsap School Board, I am a past president of the Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce and am the past President of the Poulsbo/North Kitsap Rotary Club.

Thank you for taking an interest in my work, I look forward to meeting with you and discussing how I can capture some great moments of your day!
